Legislation:
As part of our HSE Licensing arrangements we are required to comply with the Control of Asbestos Regulations (2012) and associated guidance documents including HSG247 Asbestos: The Licensed Contractors Guide.
A&D Environmental have a 3 year licensed issued by the Health & Safety Executive

Health & Safety:
The Company recognizes and accepts that in working in a highly legislated and potentially hazardous work sector, Health and Safety management must form the backbone of our culture, policies and work arrangements and is embedded into every aspect of our daily processes. Training:
Asbestos removal is highly legislated and demands that employees receive regular asbestos related training to ensure on-going competence and compliance with safety and environmental controls when employed on asbestos works.
In addition, to safely cover other work related activities and to develop and improve the general awareness of our employees, we attend and are certified on the following range of courses and accreditations:-

In addition we encourage and support attendance by our Contracts Managers in Leadership and Management training and certification, awarded by the Chartered Management Institute.
Quality:
In order to maintain our 3-year HSE Asbestos license and to sustain our position as a favoured contractor to our Clients and secure repeat business, we continually strive to improve the way in which we work to be efficient, responsive and capable to provide a quality service from enquiry through to completion of works.
Our in-house quality management system is regularly reviewed to ensure that we have adequate procedures in place to fulfil all of our contractual obligations. With clear lines of communication, regular and recorded management review meetings, internal and external audits performed on live works and inspection and checking of records we are able to monitor, measure and analyse our performance and identify then implement corrective or preventative actions as necessary.
Our equipment is inspected, tested and certified at regular and prescribed intervals to ensure that it is maintained in a fit, safe condition and ready to perform its duty as necessary. New items of equipment and consumable items are purchased from approved suppliers, many of which are within the local area.
Environment & Sustainability:
The Company is committed to minimising its impact on the environment and will continually strive to reduce carbon emissions by maintaining a modern, well maintained fleet of vehicles, planning routes and organising work to be effective.
Through our thermal insulation and sheet metal services we identify and encourage clients to invest in their boiler plant, pipelines and vessels to be as thermally efficient as possible saving money, reducing waste and emmissions..
