2019 has been a very memorable year for Dan Beattie (Assistant Contracts Manager) with 2 significant events occurring, one personal and one professional.
In early May, Dan and Lowri were married and members of the A&D team were invited to join the happy couple at the evening reception, which was excellent and a very joyous occasion – which went on late into the night and early into the following morning. Even so, everyone made it for breakfast which was quite an impressive effort – for some more than others!!!.

Then in July, Dan was successful in completing his Level 7 Leadership & Management Certificate administered by Construction Future Wales and accredited by Cardiff Metropolitan University.
This high level training initially covered 6 workshops which commenced in June of 2018 and was completed in December 2018 and included the following topics:-

• Vision, Leadership and Change
• Coaching
• Innovation for Construction
• Competitive Advantage
• Finance
• Managing Growth & Performance

To complete the course Dan then had to prepare and submit 2 essays and finally a Strategic Growth Project at Level 7 with a deadline of 4th March 2019 for assessment of his knowledge, learning and application to the workplace.

Considering that these two events were timed simultaneously it is very pleasing that Dan was able to devote the time necessary to complete his course – well done Dan.
